TAMPA, Fla. — Anthony Chickillo, linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers, gives back to the kids in his home town.
A select group of the Boys and Girls Clubs in the Tampa Bay area attended a Youth Spark Camp Thursday evening at the Tampa Microsoft store.
The kids learned how to advertise and promote a product. Chickillo shared his success story of buying into Coopers Sports Performance and Rehab, the gym he used to work out at.
He also gave the group bookbags.
Bailey Evans of the Boys and Girls Clubs said, “His side hustle was very inspiring and helped me realize that I can do a lot.”
Chickillo said, “Anytime I can give back to the kids, and come out here and have fun, and supply the things that I used to look forward to getting, I love the chance to do that."
