BRADENTON, Fla. — We’re excited to announce Tara Elementary in Manatee County as our 10News School the Week powered by Duke Energy Florida.
The team at Tara Elementary are focused not only on academics, but developing a well-rounded student. They offer a variety of specials which also turn into before and after school clubs for students to partake in. Every day offers another opportunity.
The campus is home to four pre-K classes, which allows them to get to know their students learning habits early on.
The school prides itself on tailoring academics based on the student needs. Beginning in second grade, if a student needs more challenging coursework in a subject matter, they’re group together and if there’s an area in which the student needs a little slower pace, that’s offered as well. The goal is to create a successful learning environment for the students.
